Black Eyed Peas and Ham
1 pound frozen black eyed peas
1 cup chicken broth
2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 bunch (6 to 8) green onions, thinly sliced
6 ounces diced ham
1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Serves 6.
