Black Eyed Peas and Ham

  • 1 pound frozen black eyed peas
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bunch (6 to 8) green onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 ounces diced ham
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Serves 6.
