Potato Beef Casserole

4 medium potatoes peeled and sliced
1 1/4 lbs lean ground beef, browned and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can condensed vegetable beef soup
1/2 tsp salt and pepper

In large bowl combine all ingredients. transfer to greased 3 qt baking dish. Bake covered at 350 for 1 1/2 hrs or until potatoes are tender.
